Halloween in Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen

Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens transforms every fall into what might be the coziest version of Halloween you’ll find in Europe. The park is redecorated with glowing pumpkin figures, golden autumn leaves, and winding lantern-lit paths, while witches, spiders, and seasonal treats fill the market stalls throughout the grounds.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, from Rasmus Klump’s Halloween show on the Open Air Stage to pumpkin carving at the Mill and potion-making at a giant cauldron in the Herb Garden. Little ones can also hop aboard Halloween-themed rides like the Little Ghost Train and Witch’s Carousel, while Tivoli’s regular rides stay open throughout the season.
For visitors looking for a bigger scare, Tivoli offers two standout haunted attractions: Villa Vendetta, an abandoned mansion hiding a mysterious family, and The Haunted House, tucked in tunnels beneath the historic Old Wooden Roller Coaster.
Tivoli’s Halloween season opens October 2 and the fun lasts until November 1.
